Effortless facades oppress your vision, Yet none speak too soon enough, A blinding horror to your world imprisoned, That it’s nothing more than a mere bluff,
In shadows to dwell, A peaceful soul, In wait of hell, Of what has been told,
To lurk and whisper of horrid things, To damn and despair the sweetest of beings. In hope of a new and brilliant flame, To rise from the ashes, with the love it contains,
It’s heart so void of fear and hate, A being so pure, overlooked by fate, To dawn upon his modest ardor and might, That angels and devils should relinquish their spite,
Should heaven and hell, adjourn their fight, To dance with the world in composed moonlight, As the winds of sleep, they hold you tight, Now until you wake, you know you’re right.
With eyes so pure she reigns supreme, In her mind, her soul, her withered dreams. Her hair it sweeps across her face, Just like the beauty of her tender embrace,
She lies so sweet in the dead of tonight, Wondering wherever could be her chivalrous knight, To carry her away from sorrow and woe, To take her away from the hurt she knows,
The beauty she is, she’ll always be one, In my eyes, an angel, she’s become, To feel as such is a beautiful sin, To bask in the splendor that is so thin.
And with my hands together, I pray, That this girl may break free one day, That she may frolic in a sea of bliss, And if I’m lucky, might grant the world's sweetest kiss.
With that so pure, a fire shall rage, In the very soul of every sage, For none has seen in starving glow, a girl like this, lights so much more.
